However, a major issue in premix production is the toxic exposure of workers to dust particles from these minerals. For instance, irritation, asthma and cancer can all be caused by dust exposure. This is why Orffa developed a new generation of dust free trace minerals.

Elovital Miku is Orffa’s new generation dust free sources of iodine, selenium and cobalt. The term “Miku”, meaning “beautiful sky” in Japanese, refers to the excellent physical properties of the products, resulting in an easy and safe application. Elovital Miku range is in line with European legislation and occupational exposure limits, indicating the maximum inhalation exposure to these minerals in the workplace before toxicity occurs.
