Orffa is proud to be a bronze sponsor of the Lustrum Symposium of ‘De Nederlandse Zoötechnische Vereniging (NZV) / Dutch Animal Science Association’. The symposium entitled “De Veeteler draait door” (in English: The Animal Scientist comes around and goes around) is held to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the association. NZV originally started as alumni association for people that studied Animal Sciences at Wageningen University, but nowadays broadens its views and represents a broader public. Most of the more than 500 members of the NZV studied Zootechnics at Wageningen University. In addition, graduates from Veterinary Medicine and HAS University of Applied Sciences and people from the professional field are among its members. Students are a growing group of members too.
The event takes place on Thursday November 4th 2021. During this Lustrum, workshops take place focusing on the future of cultured meat, various product standards and circulation: locally or globally?
